Multi-Tenant Fitness Center

This 5,200 square foot center, located on the new amenity level of this Central Loop office building, was developed in March of 2017 as part of a large building-amenity re-development project. The center achieved its budgeted membership and revenue levels within the first 90 days after opening. 74% of the membership base is composed of Corporate Memberships, where a subsidized membership and various wellness initiatives are provided to the employee population by the employer. The center is equipped with network-integrated Precor Preva cardio equipment, a LifeFitness Synergy Functional Training unit, a dedicated free weight area, a full line of selectorized equipment, executive-level locker rooms, and a boxing themed lounge area.

On-Site Fitness Center at Global Brokerage Firm

This 4,800 square foot center, located in the new corporate headquarters of a premier insurance and benefits group, was opened in March of 2017. LifeStart lead the design, development, and implementation of the center, and provides all management services, including a wide range of wellness and lifestyle programs. The center is designed to be the on-site hub for all the company's health and wellness initiatives. It boasts the most advanced features, including integrated smart cardio equipment, functional training equipment, a large group exercise studio, and spa-level locker rooms. LifeStart's successful engagement strategies have been extremely successful at this site with industry leading 58.7% membership and even more amazing 49% utilization (measured by attendance at least 4 times per month) in just the first 90 days!

Multi-Tenant Fitness Center

This 7,500 square foot center, located on the 2nd floor of a Class A Building in Chicago's West Loop, was developed in 2013 as part of a large building-wide re-development project. The center was originally opened and operated by a large hospital group, and after three years of under-performance, the ownership turned to LifeStart. Without any changes to the facility, LifeStart increased the membership by 63% and increased revenue by nearly $7K per month, while lowering the operating expenses of the center. LifeStart achieved this amazing transformation through the use of targeted marketing and specialized programs designed to engage tenants. The center is equipped with smart-integrated cardio equipment, two group exercise studios, a dedicated free weight area, a full line of selectorized equipment, executive-level locker rooms, and a massage room.

This 7,000 square foot center, located on the lower level of a Class A building in the Chicago East Loop area, was opened in January of 2017. The center is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, including Precor Preva Cardio, Aktiv Dynamic training system, a group exercise studio, executive locker rooms, and even a massage room. LifeStart worked with the architect to design the center. Upon opening, LifeStart drove membership to exceed the budgeted amount by 21%. Over 60% of the revenue comes directly from companies who subsidize and promote the center to their employees.

Multi-Tenant Fitness Center

This 5,000 square foot LifeStart Flex site is located on the mezzanine level of a Class A building in the Chicago Loop and was developed in December 2016. The center spans the mezzanine floor and includes a functional training zone that can accommodate up to 12 participants, a group exercise area, and a dedicated free weight area. The center is free for tenants of the building. LifeStart offers added services including permanent locker and laundry service, personal training services, and group exercise classes for a small fee. LifeStart exceeded the budgeted opening membership and was able to offer the additional services to the owner in a cost-neutral model.

On-Site Fitness Center at Enterprising Health Care Company

This 5,700 square foot center, located in the corporate headquarters of a health care cost containment company, was opened in December of 2016. LifeStart lead the design, development, and implementation of the center, and provides all management services, including a wide range of wellness and lifestyle programs. LifeStart has developed an incentives program for the company which combines center utilization, wearable technology, and wellness initiatives into a year-long program. The center is designed to be the on-site hub for all the company's health and wellness initiatives. It boasts the most advanced features, including integrated smart cardio equipment, functional training equipment, a large group exercise studio, and spa-level locker rooms. This combination of targeted wellness programming and high-end equipment helps the company to achieve maximum engagement with the employee population.

This 5,900 square foot center, located on the amenity floor of a recently redeveloped Class A Building in the Chicago Loop, was opened in October of 2016. The center is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and designed to create a culture of health and wellness for both the active and inactive populations. This center is an example of LifeStart's Flex offering, in which basic membership is offered free to all tenants. LifeStart offsets operating expenses by selling premium-level services, including robust group-exercise programming, small group training, personal training, and permanent locker/laundry services. The LifeStart Flex model is perfect for owners that want to provide more services and amenities than a traditional unstaffed facility without charging membership fees.

On-Site Fitness Center at Food Supplier and Distribution Company

This 2,500 square foot center, located in the corporate headquarters of a National Food Supplier, was developed and opened in February of 2016. The center supports the 500 on-site workers at this location, and is part of an integrated on-site wellness clinic operated by our partner Marathon Health. Staffed with a Registered Dietitian and an Exercise Physiologist, and integrated with Marathon's onsite Registered Nurse, the staff provides guidance and support, assisting employees on their journey to improved health and well-being. This center serves as a pilot for employee care programs throughout the company.

This 7,800 square foot center, located on the amenity floor of a Class A Building in the Chicago Loop, was developed in October 2014. The highlight of this corporate fitness center is the main area, which includes a centralized functional training zone that can accommodate up to 30 participants at once. LifeStart conducted pre-sales and achieved over 20% penetration in membership before the center even opened its doors, and the center has continually grown its membership to exceed budget by over 25%.

On-Site Fitness Center at Technology Firm

This 17,000 square foot center, located in Northern California at the U.S. headquarters of a Fortune 100 technology company, was developed and opened in August of 2015. The center boasts amazing views and a comprehensive list of equipment designed to motivate and engage this tech-savvy population. The center opened with 58.6% of the employees as members and has increased to just over 62%.

This 7,500 square foot center, located on the amenity floor of a Class A Building in the Chicago Loop, was developed in March of 2015. The center is equipped with a raised acoustical floor, which makes the entire space soundproof to the tenants below. With state-of-the-art equipment focused on the young and active population, LifeStart was able to secure over 65% of the membership from companies who subsidized and promoted the center to their employees. Pre-sales secured over 20% of the tenant population in membership and the center exceeded the budget by 43% in its first year.

On-Site Fitness Center at Food and Beverage Firm

This 13,000 square foot center, located in the corporate headquarters of a Fortune 100 beverage company, was developed and opened in May of 2002. The center has undergone several updates over the years to keep it refreshed and innovative. The center is located on the top floor of the building, over the Chairman's office, which attests to the company's commitment to employee health and well-being. Active members account for 67% of the workforce, a testament to the level of engagement that can be achieved when companies build a culture of wellbeing.

This 11,000 square foot multi-story center, located in a 1.4M square foot Class A building in the Chicago Loop, was developed and opened in March of 2015. The expansive ceiling height of this space allowed us to create an indoor basketball court and multi-functional training space, setting this center apart from competitors.

On-Site Fitness Center at Industrial Firm

This 5,800 square foot center is part of an integrated onsite medical clinic that was developed and opened in October of 2013. Our client is an innovative company in the industrial sector with four different divisions and 1,800 employees. Through our partnership Marathon Health, we have created an integrated wellness center that supports the onsite clinic, and addresses the lifestyle needs that their employees have. We have achieved 48.6% utilization at this site!

Fitness Center on 5-Star Worldwide Amenity Floor

This 7,000 square foot center is part of the 5-Star Worldwide experience in a newly upgraded space located in a 1M square foot Class A building in the Chicago Loop. This onsite wellness center is a part of the amenity-rich environment, which helps the tenants attract and retain top talent. The photo highlights a dedicated functional training space which provides comprehensive equipment designed to engage and motivate an active population. The center originally opened with another management company that was unable to capitalize on this amazing center. LifeStart tweaked the equipment by switching out a few pieces of strength equipment to pieces that are less user-defined, and added more personal lockers to enhance the service model. After one year of operations, LifeStart increased membership by 48% and increased revenue by just under $12K per month. Utilization rates have doubled, and group exercise classes had to be added to accommodate this increase.

On-Site Fitness Center at Industrial Firm

This converted loading dock provides a variety of cages and functional training equipment designed to provide training that consists of varied functional movements at a high intensity. This center, located at an industrial site in Louisiana, has been a tremendous attraction to the employee population.
